About Blue Ridge Cafe

Chef and Owner Shawn Hayes moved to Central Virginia in 1995 after meeting and marrying his wife Rita. They opened a small 30 seat café just hours after their daughter Elizabeth was born. Knowing he was in a small market with not a lot of Restaurant choices, Chef Shawn designed a menu and restaurant that was something everybody could enjoy. Over the last 20 plus years he has built the business from a small café to a Cozy Café, Sports Bar, Banquet Rooms and off Site catering, as well as one of Virginia’s best known wedding caterers.

Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Ruckersville, VA, just north of Charlottesville, the Café is open 7 days a week year-round and features a delicious and varied menu. Appetizers, Soups, Salads, Sandwiches & Burgers, Steaks, Seafood, Poultry, Italian Food, Beverages & Full Bar Menu and Desserts. Catering is a full service and budget friendly program that will be sure to please both you and your guests.
